Network Engineer (Cyber Security / Oil & Gas) London Central £70,000 - £80,000 + Training + Progression + Company Benefits Are you a Network Engineer with a background in cybersecurity or infrastructure that wants to work for one of the globes biggest companies? In this role you will be identifying potential areas of risk using penetration testing techniques and working collaboratively to re-enforce and secure the network and infrastructure. This role would suit somebody that is used to working with very large scale systems, used to identifying potential risks in the network and infrastructure and happy to work collaboratively with other IT staff. THE ROLE:

• Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure IT network
• Work closely with and monitor logs generated from SIEM & Sophos MTR
• Configuring, maintaining and implementing intrusion detection systems and firewalls, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security
• Create and update all relevant Jira tickets being worked on regularly

THE PERSON:

• Network Security background
• Knowledge of Firewalls, Routers and Switches
• Familiar with Linux and Windows OS
• Commutable to Central London
